Coaching

Whilst practice makes perfect is a cliché because it’s true, the other truth is help is needed to improve.

Fitness

I’ve got two trainers to help me get and stay fit and flexible. My brother, Steve, lives in Nashville and provides online training. Andy trains me locally and in person.

During the current pre-season we’ve been working on flexibility and strengths in order to build club-head speed. It’s going well so far and with some tweaks and practice I’m feeling confident.

Just be aware, training can be dangerous – check this out here

Mindset

Talking about feelings, the other type of coach I’m using is to improve my mindset and build mental resilience. If you’ve ever played golf with me, you’ll know I can be a bit of a hothead. Aggression can good if harnessed effectively and that’s part of the reason for using this type of coaching.

I want to be a successful professional golfer. To do that, practice isn’t enough. That would help me stand still. Physical and mindset coaching will help me move forward.
