And now we wait………
After a successful week at Leven Links, Rory and Samantha are now taking time out as they await the arrival of their baby girl due in early September. In the meantime, now that the Tartan Pro Tour qualifies for world ranking points, Rory finds himself inside the top 3000 golfers in the world – something to work on.
New challenges for 2024
There’s lots to look forward to this year. An expanded Tartan Pro Tour for one, with opportunities to play Challenge Tour is looking good following the announcement that there are two places up for grabs this season. In addition the Tartan Pro Tour has now been included in the Official World Golf Ranking system which means OWGR points can be earned – they can’t do that on the LIV tour!
Early in 2024 Rory married the love of his life Samantha and they have since announced that they are expecting their first child later this year so lots of exciting times coming up.
Tartan Pro Tour
The Tartan Pro Tour gets underway at Montrose on the East Coast of Scotland in May 2024 and includes 13 three day events. The Tour Championship will be played at the iconic Trump International Course in Aberdeen. Challenge Tour invites and now two cards plus the opportunity to win OWGR points will make it even more popular and competitive.

About Rory
Starting young
With a dad and an older brother both keen and competitive golfers, Rory played from a young age. Whether it was practising putting in Inverness or honing his pitching skills on Bruntsfield Links in Edinburgh, he can’t remember a time when he didn’t play golf.
